Branson, Missouri's Elvis Festival

Branson, Missouri, home to over 100 shows, is pleased to announce the return of the Branson Elvis Festival competition at the Legends Family Theater in Branson, MO. The 2nd Annual Branson Elvis Festival will take place on July 2nd, 2008 at 7:00pm. "The contest last year at the Legends Theater was a smashing success and this year’s promises to be even bigger and better, as we crown the tribute artist that best represents the legacy of Elvis Presley and proudly send them to Memphis to represent this venue,” said Brian Brigner, Chief Operating Officer of On Stage Entertainment.

Judges will look for the “best representation of the Elvis legacy” in talent, appearance, performance, stage presence, and overall tribute to Elvis in naming the "2008 Elvis Tribute Artist of the Year." The winner of the contest in Branson will receive a $1,000 prize and a spot in The 2008 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest finals in Memphis during the annual Elvis Week, August 9-17. The 2nd Annual Branson Elvis Festival winner will also be offered the opportunity to perform live at the Legends in Concert 8pm show on July 3^rd, 2008. The 2nd place winner will receive a $300 prize and the 3rd place winner will receive a $200 prize.
